OK... That's not a tool cabinet... It's a display cabinet for a collection.

Absolutely fabulous LN.

I've started putting the tools in the cabinet.........

Well stop posting on the forum until you have finished putting all those tools away and taken pictures to show us.....love the cabinet and the tools you are putting in it.
I'll hold my breath until the pics are up.....................

OK... Now there are just so many questions!!!

Does the sign warn that there is to be none of that going on in the workshop? If so, does it then happen around the rest of the house?

Or, is the sign warning you that it will happen when you enter the workshop?

Well I can give you a taster, I'll post some pics in about twenty minutes.

I'm still waiting for the brass knobs for the drawers so they are a way off being finished but I have got as far as putting all the hand planes in situ and I've got all my Lie Nielsen chisels in. I've still got to make a rack for my Blue Spruce paring chisels and I've got to fit in numerous tools on the back board in the main part of the cabinet.


Most of my saws and all of my hand planes are in situ.



All my Lie Nielsen chisels are in place in the new rack (Look no slots visible) my Blue Spruce paring chisels will go above the LN's.



A load of tools still to go in back panel and the drawers await the brass knobs.

Thaat's not a tool cabinet - its a display cabinet

I've still got a bit to do, and the two planes on the upper shelf in the door will get moved over to the other door, then there is the other rack to do for my paring chisels and although not made yet but I've kept the wood in reserve is the inner doors in the main part of the cabinet.

These doors partly open in the pic

You have heard of the michelan man LN (the Tyre guy) well i am a metric man so i have idea what the measurements are except for the feet and inches part
