Treasure chest
Just a few of my first projects in a lot of years.
The first is a treasure chest my wife decided she wanted for our wedding, she kindly decided this a week and a half before the wedding. I made it out of scrap pine i found at work.
The next is just a simple clock i made out of a piece of hard wood i found on my parents wood pile.
Last is the cot im making at the moment, this is just one end. Ive got both ends done and just starting on the sides.
Cheers
benji.

Dang!! They are great!!! Lovely colour for the pine treasure chest - nice heirloom to start your married life together.
I hope you got more than a week and a half's notice for the cot

Nice work
I like the chest (and a very clever dodge with the shape of the lid). What finish did you use?
I also like the scrollwork in the middle of the cot end and keep the pix coming.

Thanks guys. The chest is lined with some silk material my wife found in some crevice in the house (i don't ask questions!), every one at the wedding thought it looked like a coffin.. fitting i guess.. gee i hope my wife doesn't read this.
