Thread: new vanity unit

Here is my recently finished vanity unit. Construction is sydney blue gum with base, drawers and dividers in radiata pine. Finish is feast watson red mixed directly into super blond shellac. Application was first coat brushed on to give reasonable build up and lightly sanded back with 400 open coat. Subsequent coats were applied with a rubber with no sanding.
Unit was difficult to photograph in situ as bathroom is small and white tiles and a mirror above the unit made lighting awkward.
