2nd part of the build
G'day,
I bit the bullet today and started sorting out what remaining s/gum I have left over.
My concern is having enough. To get the most of it what I have I sorted the boards into 4 piles (left to right) firewood, beaut stuff (which will be for certain components, 1 sided and 2 sided.
The plan will be that I will use the 1 sided stuff where the opposite side, for defects like tearout, will not be seen as in the back of the b/case in the panels, rails and stiles.
How long will this take me to have it built? Silly question. And one I'm not going to answer.

Beautiful work Waldo, the figure in the top is sensational. What router set and is it vertical or horizontal, did you use for the raised panels, I really like the profile?

P'raps you should've called this thread "Waldo's Centennial Project"?

G'day Burnsy,
The router bits were a horizontal set. When I went to C/tec I spent a fair while looking over the various profiles and settled on the one I used as being the better looking.
I'll post later with the specific CMT number/type of the set I used.
Yeah Skew, could have and that's why I 'm not going to tell even the client how long it will take me. Could well have called it the Centennial Project, but then that locks me down to a time frame.

Are the muntins (mullions to you ) drawn to scale in that sketch-up pic?
They're looking pretty skinny...
...and only the first door has four panes? Or haven't you sketched 'em in the other doors and what I'm taking for a muntin is the front of the internal shelf?

No Mate, I haven't changed the muntins since we last spoke.
Haven't sketched them in.
there's a muntin on the horizontal.
Burnsy, I just went down to the shed. The bit for the riased panels is # 890.505.11 http://www.carbatec.com.au/router-sh...bearing-guides There were quite a few profiles to choose from, but it was the best one I thought that matched to the rail and stile set # 891.503.11 http://www.carbatec.com.au/router-sh...bearing-guides
On the bit for the raised panel it leaves a slight lip on the top of the panel, which I wasn't too keen on, so I raised the bit a little higher to lose the lip.
