I would have really got in trouble on this, My plan was to take a
pallet apart and plane, sand, stain, varnish, oil, all the pieces
and put it back together as a pallet.

But I think I'll make my own mugs.

(Would the moderators let me? )

(But DJ they are only a couple of cups. If your mind is telling you that ......)

Number 1 inspired me to try something similar. I had all sorts of ideas with multiple light sources sequenced to to produce an evolving shadow. Then I read it was a fake. Now I understand the true meaning of the piece. It reflects the submitters, and mirrors my own struggle to make something out of nothing. A struggle that eventually fails leaving only a pile of woodchips and bent nails.

    It got my vote.

I finally made my vote. After nearly a week of trying to make up my mind.

I think everyone who made the effort to participate, and to put an entry in deserves a vote

Not only do they get to explore and do something they havent perhaps done before, they have all contributed to the entertainment of every single person who has viewed this thread.

And Wendy, is the finishing time for voting what was quoted in first post, or what is written at the top of the Poll?

The poll has now closed. Thank you to everyone who voted and participated, whether by entering or by watching.

I have the list of entrants with names, ready to publish, but cannot do so until the Beginners have identified themselves.

Please do so via PM to me ASAP!!!

    Many Thanks

    Wendy

Edit - I appreciate some people are not online. Therefore the call for Beginners to identify themselves will be closed at 6pm QLD tonight.

    Thanks

QLD time? I hope you don't mean Jo time?

"N-never you mind what I said, young feller. It'll be 6PM w-when I say it is, by golly!"
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
