    Default Windsor Rocker and fanback.

Show off a couple of my latest chairs. pictures arn't that crash hot. anyway.

Rocker. This ones got a larger seat. Last one sold, but apparently the seat was too small for most. Bit surprised about. I thought it was standard size, so maybe its just that people who want them tend to have bigger bums.

Trying thicker spindles with a larger flat on them, and deeper curve around the shoulder blades for worse posture. seems the worse the posture the more relaxed some feel.

But happy with the overal balance of the thing, and people are finding it comfortable.

Nantucket Fanback. loud looking thing some love the look of. Baluster legs, knuckles and volutes. I've modified the origional by curving the back spindles and styles for more comfort.

Beautiful work Jake, the travisher must have had a good workout. Still looking for a travisher of my own, hard to find out which ones are good.

Tremendous work! What timbers have you used for them?

    Thumbs up

    Superb work Jake!!!

They are so light and airy as well as being very elegant. It is hard to believe that they could actually be used!!

Jake, Is the crest rail bent or cut from the solid?

Really love them, Jake. Thanks for sharing with us

Are you selling them or are they just for your own use (ISTR you were looking at getting into making these for at least someof your income)?
    Cheers

Very nice - the rocker is my preference. I reckon you've got the design right there. I like the high back.

Re seat size: One of the few things that makes a chair comfortable is 'wriggle room'. If a chair doesn't have it, no amount of padding will make it comfortable for any long period.

selling them. I've got a local place, which I like cause I don't have travel much and much about with the selling side of things which exaust me, , but he's taking like 40%. But he's a nice guy and he's getting me plenty of work that I can live off at least. full time currently, got a few months worth of orders ahead of me. Making 6 sidechairs up at the moment.
