Wine Cabinet - Part the Second
Done some more work on the cabinet today:
- Mounted the remaining wine racks
- Set in place the two false drawers
- Fine sanded and waxed the carcass
- Roughly made up (edge-joined TO) top
- Resawed some Red Gum, edge-jointed it, sawed & planed to fit & bevelled the edges
I haven't attached the Red Gum - the pics below show the TO and, alternatively, the RG (just resting in place): What are your thoughts - should I go with the RG, or just leave it as it is. I'm thinking that it will be too many different sorts of timber. Ditto the top.
Once again, comments or brickbats welcome!
Cheers!
