WIP, single bed with stairs and drawers, made entirely by Festool Domino XL
First time to post photos, not sure if this is the right place.
This is my first project with Festool Domino XL, making a single bed with stairs on the side and drawers underneath the stairs. most of the work is finished now, I need to glue up the stair case tonight, make the drawers and will up load photos when I get a chance.
Some basic dimensions of the bed.
2500mm long x 1100mm wide x 850mm high (to the bottom of the bed), 1400mm overall (to the top of the post)
there are 2 sets of 3 drawers and a shelf underneath the bed, these are on castors so they can be shift around and creating a play/hide area under the bed.
there are 2 parts I have not used Domino:
1. a panel on side of the stair, I used pocket screws for this panel, I have no idea why. probably experimenting?
2. beam-post joint. this is because I need to transport it and setup at my clients place. I could have used Domino for this joint and then use other ways of connecting method, although I have no doubt about the strength of the domino, but making the beam itself as the tenon will be much stronger. I endup using joint connector bolt by Hafele.
The photos are not in any particular order, I am sure you can tell what is what, more photos will come

It is looking very good. A perfect project for the Domino XL. What timber is it, some kind of pine?

Noice job!
The XL makes large joinery a lot quicker and simpler.
I have made a few bunks for large teenagers and they have stood upto the punishment real well. Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .
