WIP - Xmas Presents
Have been busy making different Xmas presents for the kids - we have one daughter who is very hard to please as she is very finnicky so I designed this little thing for her so she can use it on her desk at work.
Still unfinished as it needs the addition of a gold pen trumpet with wooden pen to finish it off. That should be done this week sometime as soon as the trumpets arrive.Regards,

WIP - Xmas Presents 2
These are for our other 3 kids - some weather stations and an unfinished clock - still waiting for the glass and bezel so I can finish it off too.
All of these are done in Jarrah off cuts etc I had lying around so thought I would put them to good use.
I have also included a pic of my new branding iron signature tooRegards,

I really like how you have suspended the desk clock with the brass rod and the jarrah for the wall unit seems to finish really well. Great Job
BTW how much did the brand cost and where did you get it???Have a nice day - Cheers

G'day Rowan,
Thanks for your comments.
I got the iron from the States from this mob - Branding Iron - I sent them the drawing and had it specially made - it's not cheap but well worth it and I am very happy with it - all up with freight etc was around $240Regards,

Don,
Those 2 brass rods are only short and sit in the holes in the top of the triangular section and then as I slid the clock section up they both just went into the holes in the 'frame'. The 2 longer vertical brass rods hold the whole thing up and the base is glued in. It fitted together quite easily actually and even surprised me how easy it went together.Regards,

Very nice work. Brass and jarrah go so well together.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.
