No, a solid carbide spiral bit will do the job nicely.

Cutting the grills was quite a challenge.
    1. You want to have holes cantered and equally spread on the panel.
    2. The panels are made of 5 planks of wood so you don’t want the holes to be on the glue lines.

I took me a while to figure out all the numbers before I made the first cut.

Lucky I did 2 panels together. It saved a lot of time.

So there you have it boys and girls. The EU has been moved into the house. All went according to plan. The door didn’t even put up a fight.

I also used the opportunity to replace the 25 yrs old curtains. The new bamboo blinds suit our style better. I am pretty happy with the project and more importantly I have the wife’s approval.

Thanks for following the WIP and until next time. Bye.

So what are you doing today if you're not coming to my place?

Another top job Wongers, I wasted the greenie I was going to give you for this on something trivial, so you'll have to wait!

    Cheers,

    P

Another great job, that humbles the rest of us, well me anyway. Particualarly like the oriental sort of legs. Go well with bamboo curtains and should fit the rest of the house - as I remember it.

As stated, you now need to hide the ugly TV (not just yours being ugley,. all of them I mean)

How about some sort of roller door thingy? Tambour is the word I was looking for.
