    Default new to woodworking

    hello Iam new to woodworking doing it for 2 years now. I havebeen learning from books and trial and error. I like to make my own stuff up as I go no plans. Here is a buffet I made for my mother I have not made hutch it will come later. this is white wood with cherry oil base stain and oil base floor polyurethane and then waxed.It will be nice to get ideas and learn from you guys here. thank you, bill.

    Wow. Is that all birds eye Rock Maple?

    There is some nice features in the timber.

    thank you all. this wood was white wood a general purpose wood. you get what appears to be worm holes in random boards. it took me 6 months to find enough boards to do the buffet. looking for more boards for the hutch.
