For Woodwould
This is the first of a series of photos of MIL's furniture. Well I hope it comes up!!
This is one of the dining chairs.
I had trouble getting good space and lighting but I think they will give an idea of this rather elegant furniture. It is said to be French and over 150 years old. The furniture has a light and airy look and is not particularly heavy, but it is quite strong and in need of restoration because it, like the parquet floor you see, has been badly neglected.

Same era as the elbow chair you posted i.e. circa 1900-1910. This one could be French, though styles were blurred at this period.
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
