G'day,
Strueth! Where do you guys swing a dead cat? But then a messy shed makes it feel like you are doing something.

G'day,
As my shed also houses our cars I have to try and keep things tidy. But whenever I am doing something on my bench, my wife's car who's is closest always ends up being covered in layers of dust and shavings.

You guys should consider yourselves lucky. I'd love to have that much room to make a mess in. My workshop is down one side and at the back of a single garage. There's about 100mm clearance (side and back) when I back the Landcruiser in.
I'm seriously considering getting hinges put in the windscreen so I can get out of the car over the bonnet.
Having so little room means I have to clean up all my toys at the end of each days work to get the car in and that sucks!!!!

Cant make an omlette without breaking eggs. But a noose? Still, when all that mess just gets too much, and the router slips, and the extra bit that you need for the tenons is cut off the rail (duh), and the #5,7,4,41/2,65 etc is blunt......

Iain,,what can i say!!! I dont think ive ever seen such chaos,,,
It looks like the aftermath of hurricane in there mate,,or was it the aftermath of you searching for your last bottle of Glenlivet?
I trust you are suitably ashamed of yourself young man and thet you will be posting pics in a few days of the NEW, CLEAN, TIDY, and ORGANISED workshop that we all know you really want So get lively in there, forget the horses and the fishing and the new 4wd and the glenlivet and get things sorted out.
I dont think Sturdee is able to reply to this post just yet as he is still recovering from the shock,,,Get well soon Peter,, and try to put this out of your mind,, its most unlikely you will ever see such scenes again in your lifetime
You should be awarded a black spot or some such color for this post Iain for bringing the world of woodworking into disrepute,,Imagine if young children were to see this.

BTW You've got a long way to go in the mess stakes. Takes me a whole day to find the broom.

Threw it out on the road after the guillotining and the kids sat on the fence counting the skidding cars, must be one of our national pastimes.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.
