Q & D WS Cabinet
Here’s a Quick & Dirty storage cabinet for the workshop.
It’s made of 2 sheets of 17mm Construction grade (C/D face) ply and edged in Kwila. I bought 5 X 3.3mtr X 19mm lengths of Kwila for $40.00 and it was dressed!
It’s 1600mm wide X 450mm deep X 970mm high. The drawer slides are HÄFELE full extension and will hold 45kg so I can see right to the back of the drawers, @ $14.30 a pair I reckon they are a bargain.
The door hinges are from an old kitchen cabinet and the handles were $4.05 each.
I hope to hide a mountain of useful bits & pieces in the thing

Major
There are those amongst our number who would be quite happy to put that cabinet in the lounge room.
Beautiful work. Well done.

If that's "quick and dirty" then I'd love to see what you make when you take your time!!
Very nice. Post some more.

Funny you should mention the web site, it's due for a major facelift which I plan for June/July orientated more toward woodworking bits & pieces. I'll have to find all the various stuff as it's not all in one place
Thanks for the kind words all.

Very impressed MP. What are you using to jig up for the shelf pin drilling?

Al.
I made up a jig using a 8mm dowel and a hinge. I first drilled a hole where I wanted the row of holes to start and then moved the board down 32mm. I then swung the hinged board with the dowel in it into the first hole & away you go. I was only out by less than 0.5mm after 18 holes

That's a nice touch. I reject the idea of spending 100 bucks for a jig to drill a hole.
