    Default Yew Bowl

    Finished this awhile ago. I really enjoy turning Yew and think the lines/cracks give it character.

    I got this from a tree that fell down in the woods near my upper pasture. Been drying for a few years. I also have some freshly cut from a stump my neighbor wanted removed.

    Lovely piece!

    You're right about the cracks adding character; if you visualise the same bowl without 'em it still looks good but is not anything special. I reckon the cracks add another 0 to its' value.
