Yowies very basic woodwork
Well I decided I should show a bit of my work. Mostly in Recycled Jarrah and Pine. I would place myself in the 'improving' category.
1. Trick sliding dovetail mallet (posted previously). I have the plans if anyone wants them.
2. Little Hall table made for the wife for First Wedding Anniversary. First attempt at hand cut dovetails. Have learnt a bit since then. (plans from one of the woodwork mags)
3. My first router project. Quite pleased with it as it is a bit different to most knife blocks one sees.
4. A very early project, recycled jarrah coffee table. First attempt at a table top. Not overly flat as didn't own many tools. How that has changed. Might take it back out the shed and flaten it properley.
5. Outdoor Day bed in recycled and bunnings jarrah. Was trying to teach myself some techniques like wedged through tennons, and curved tennons for the top bit. Very tricky (for me) and far from perfect. Sorry about the photo, it was raining.
6. My dart board.
7.My new bar shelving in Jarrah. Main problem I had with this was the unsquare walls of the house.
Feel free to be critical. It's the best way to learn methinks.
WIPs include a large hall table, two bedside tables, and a Wine rack in Jarrah with a Sheoak top. Haven't sourced the sheok yet. Hoping something will crop up at the Perth Wood Show (along with a new Triton Router and a Bandsaw if the prices are right)The world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.

G'day Yowie, just a little advice, save your pictures as jpg rather than bmp. You'll get a bigger Pic for the same amount of file sizes

Why would I post this in the General Woodwork Forum when it's not about woodwork?
