For a while there it used to be the Monday closest to 26 Jan.
Now it is 26 Jan regardless.
I know what you were getting at Al.Cliff.

check out the inscription on the headstone....... A terror to evil doers.
for those unaware of the significance Sgt michael kennedy was shot (murdered?) by Ned kelly and gang in the wombat ranges at a place called Stringybark creek between mansfield and Benalla.
The monument is in the main street of mansfield in memory of the 3 murdered policemen

Stuff to get the creative juices going a bit is one guys take on Mexico and Tequila http://www.heavenearthtequila.com/book.html Nikon sponsored the photographer that's how I found out about it.

I'll be taking pictures on the Monday and Tuesday next week when I can borrow a friend's digital camera. otherwise it will be with the mobile phone and I don't think you'll let me live that one down no matter how much I might try
