Default Brivus Buffalo Ducted Heater Problem

HI, of all times for the ducted heater to go. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be.
i have a buffalo 88 ducted heater. Recently noticed that the house wasnt getting as warm as it normally and also that the hot air wasnt coming out of the vents as strong.
Now the heater ignites, coimes on , but then switches off when it gets to about 16 or 17. Lately its switching on, igniting, stays on for a few minutes then turns off, then turns on later. it doesnt seem to blow out as much. the ducts are all sealed as had a look under the house, all still the same.
Boy its cold on these nights in melb
Any help on this. Could it be the wall controller and nothing to do with the heater?
    thanks in advance if possible

If the heater is turning on/off okay, then I suggest that the problem is probably with the controller. Of course I could be wrong, so maybe get the heater people in to check/service it all.

Could be a problem with the fan not moving enougth air for some reason. The unit itself would be getting too hot and switching off if not enougth air was flowing through it. Does it have filters that need cleaning?

I would check/replace the thermostat/controller. They are not too expensive.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

HI, thanks for the ideas. I decided to go under the house to see if any colapsed ducts, but all good and they were all warm.
Decided to take cover off and have a look at the fan and "F" me . The whole top was covered in an ants nest. Millions of ants, So i cleaned it all out, took all apart and they were nesting in there.
Turned it all on, went inside and turned the controller on, and "bang" the fan came on full bore and all vents had millions of ants being blown out..lol
So heater had to be turned down later as it was to bloody hot!..lol
