Default What I do when not covered in sawdust

Try and keep this brief, I do a lot of art.

I paint in Genesis Heat Set paints and mediums, going through a monotone phase right now.

I sculpt baby dolls without moulds from Polymer clay, they range in size from 1" through to full sized 30" newborn babies.

This one is 5" long and moveable. I have had 5 of my large baby sculpts reproduced now in Vinyl limited editions by a company in Germany. Having a well earnt break at the moment from Dolls after 11yrs solid of making them day in day out.

I also sculpt fantasy art works, mostly male nudes These are 11" high if standing some are up to 13" high. This one is from a painting I did and then chose to create the sculpt to accompany the painting.

My big passion is miniatures, I love creating anything and everything in mini, 1:12th scale. Here is a room I made in 1:12th scale from a photo I saw in a design book. Still have this one, was such a hard project and was so happy with the finish I couldnt part with it.

So that is a little of what I do to keep myself amused. I have 3 sons and my eldest 18yr old twins are autistiic so I have always done my artworks to I guess keep me sane, its a great escape for me.

Oh and I also dabble in photography Home - Welcome to Aiko Photography

The baby and the fairy are a little spooky. A bit too real looking.

I knit to stay sane. It is very portable and I can do it with my eyes shut. :

Thank you all. It usually spins people out when they see what I do, mostly people just look at me as Corey and Harleys mum, being they have a disability I think they assume thats all I have time for, lol.

Excellent work! Perhaps you could post some of your creations down in the art forum. We need a bit more life down in the basement. Maybe a WIP?
    Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Just scroll down right to the bottom. It's a long way down. Don't go too fast, it makes you dizzy!
