out and about in december/january
the flying duck has been flowering for a month and temporarily traps insects with its spring loaded beak to aid pollination

thats no duck, it is the lizard post flower. looking deceptively like a lizard this flower actually pollonates on line, where the mere sight of it can spawn numerous inane posts.
