    Default Fire in the sky

I was out playing with my camera just now and the sunset was magic so I thought I would share it with you.

    Cheers Ian

Don't want to hijack this thread, but you've just gotta love this wide brown land!!

    Same sky, different place!

Here is a picture taken in the Pilbara region of W.A. I found it whilst skating around the internet a while back. I do not know who the photographer was but I reckon that it is a very powerful image. Like BM said, Ya gotta love this wide brown land.
    Regards,
    Barry.

I got around to thinking last night and thought what if we all took sunset shots on the same day right across the country, then posted them.

    your thoughts?

    Ian,

Great idea, but it may have to be over a week rather than just one night... I'd end up missing by half an hour or something!

    Cheers.

What if we did it on a weekend?

just thought if it was the same day with lots pics from all over the place would be kind of cool.

    Cheers Ian

I'm game, you name the weekend! or how about we make it an Australia Day thing, with the photos to be taken in the week before?

I'll use up all my sunset shots now so you know I don't cheat!

I hope we get an evening cloud buildup!

    Cheers,

P (taken at Kawana Waters early December)

Great idea Ian ... you be the Adelaide photographer

Here's one I took in March last year (not as colourful as yours) and the other is in Ontario, Canada (a few weeks ago)
