Default Can you guess where this is?

    12 x 8 Megapixel composite panorama. Its a 360 degree (60 megapixel [170Mb] final raw image) photo.

Plenty of timber in this neighborhood.

    Cheers

Hint, it's not really a river so much as a pool of water - photo is 360 so while taking this photo I was surrounded by water.

When one has finished building one's house, one suddenly realizes that in the process one has learned something that one really needed to know in the worst way--before one began.

Is there an old railway tunnel nearby (thinking back to my youth when I lived there, can't remember the name of the place though).

Bugga, I can't think of the name of it now......a resort near Pemberton WA?

    Oh yeah, Karri Valley Resort?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonay in one hand - Strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming - "WOO WOO...What a ride"

Pemberton is correct but it's not the Karri Valley Resort, it's much closer, well it's actually in the town. You can camp next door.

    Default Pembie.

Pemberton Swimming Pool, Lefroy Brook. Camping next door at the Pemberton Caravan Park.
Spent many a day/week hiking and camping around this area in my younger days.
    Lovely spot indeed.

    Whoo Hoo! correctomundo!!!!

I was born in Pemberton and learned to swim in this mud pit. As a kid I also spent several Xmas eve's watching Father Xmas coming down the brook in a small dinghy handing out lollies to all the kids. Magic times - all a bit sad now when you look at how run down it is.

WIll post another where is is this photo in a couple of days.
