Thread: Motorbikes pics

Here is my machine bought on the pretence of it actually being my sons.

I actually have a compliance plate for it meaning that it is fully street legal (would need work to have indicators lights etc refitted).

'78 model (old as me) 3 speed 50cc had it up to 50kmh with me on it.

When i got I stripped it down to bare everything except motor (not too mechanical and it was already running ok) Painted tank and other bits after sandblasting and did the seat myself. Frame and other bits are powdercoated.

Just needs a headlight and mudguards but they cost a fortune from overseas suppliers. I have looked around in AUS but no luck.

Found a couple of pictures of my Rickman Honda, taken about 1977.
I still have the bike, or at least all the pieces to re-assemble the bike, sitting in the shed.
One day ...
