Rather you than me Iain
I hate having to wear lots of heavy clothing, and trying to do delicate joinery whilst wearing a greatcoat, muffler, six sweaters and mitts doesn't appeal

i lived in Hobart for about 12 months, yeah in can get cold when the wind blows from SW to W but its not that much colder (i'd call it fresher) than Melbourne, but don't tell anyone, Tassie is a great place in most places.

Hey sheddie
It twas snowing through the midlands yesterday on my way up to woodpile city.
Interesting that the ABC radio said at 8pm last night that they were thinking of closing the midlands cause of ice.
Sad to see what happened at 10pm
Should I still go camping out at pedder on the weekend:confused:

Hmmm. I was in shorts and t shirt today. Typical Autumn in Hobart.

I am getting my hot-water bottle out to-night; the forecast overnight minimum is 10°C. Umm, Tassiekiwi, what is all that white stuff round your car?

Yeah, but Sheddie, it was a weird day, it got up to 16 deg. (not shorts weather, but not snow either).
Mind you, I have happily worn polar fleeces in 30 degree heat.
Last time I was in Brissy they were having a heat wave (several 40ish degrees days) and I loved it, but the locals hated it.
If I like the heat so much, why do I live in Tassie again?
Mind you, just about everything else about it is perfect.
