South Para Overflowing
I was coming home from the Barrosa Today, after much rain in the last few days, I thought I would see if the South Para was overflowing as it was close last week. as you can see in the pics it was, so I thought I would share a few with you.
Photo 1 was about a week ago
The rest are from today

Some People are like slinky's,
They serve no purpose at all,
but they put a smile on your face when you throw them down the stairs.

G'day Ian, Great shots. With all the rain the South Para river is really flowing & is causing a few problems in Gawler at the moment. The North Para river is also running a banker. It is very hard to get about in Gawler due to road cl osures & restrictions due to flooding. lRegards, Barry.

Great pics Ian, I used to work flood gauging rivers in that area many years ago, but floods like that were few & far between

As with the rest of Aus, there is a critical shortage of water only enhanced by irrigation and to sustain population growth. There must be a happy medium somewhere to service both these concerns. On a lighter note...floods in SA...enjoy!!!
