Default Thats not a chainsaw...this is a chainsaw...

I was looking at some of the "chainsaws" we have at work, and the idea for a THREAD came to me.

The challange is for people to post pictures of their chainsaws (ever increasing in size) till we have the ultimate chainsaw.

NO jumping the gun... (if you have a big one), please wait your turn.

Oh, and if you are wondering, we use these battery powered chainsaws because they don't alert everyone in the vacinity that you are chopping down a tree..........(small as it might be) !!!!

Pict 1 - 12 Volt Makita. Excellent for removing branches without the neighbours coming out.

Pict 2 and 3 - Ryobi 18 Volt. Probably can lop a 300 diameter problem, and never a greenie disturbed.

    Who's up next..............

Oh, and if you have a smaller one, please post it too............

OK.. I'll start on the Petrol saw...
This isn't one I own, it's in the Kauri museum up in Northland.. but it's just so cute you want to pick it up and hug it..

Bar is about 12" long, and I love the tin cans for the petrol and bar oil

It's official name was the Chug-A-Saw

    Cheers

Reminds me of the joke about the Irishman who bought the biggest chainsaw in the shop - Guaranteed to cut 400 trees a day!

Next day he's back at the shop. Throws the chainsaw at the salesman's feet and sez, "That's bluddy rubbish, that is! Supposed to cut 400 trees a day! I'm a strong lad and I could only do 250!"

Salesman says, "Very sorry sir, lets see whats wrong here". Proceeds to choke the saw, then pulls the starter. Chainsaw goes "Rooooar! Vroooom! Meeeooooow! etc"

The Irishman says, "What's that terrible noise?"

    LOL............

Yes, the idea was to post chainsaws in ever increasing sizes, then ending up with the V8 powered chainsaw (which, yes - had been posted elsewhere, and helped give me the idea for the thread.)

Something like below would have been more appropriate for the next post......oh well.

PS - whats the donk on that baby. (All alloy ?) Must weigh a bit. Specs anyone...

This thread reminds me of the (well IMHO Silly) "sport" of walking, ie No running allowed.

My two chainsaws are out of order like me, and don't deserve their pictures taken.
