    Red face WHS nightmare

Early this year Mrs L and myself had the oppotunity to attend a Historic Machinery weekend in Toowoomba (Hi Wendy) I believe it was one of the bigest held outside USA.
One of the displays included this bench drill powered by a Villers engine, no doubt put to geather but some one who needed to be kept busy.
I rather doubt it would pass the Workplace Health andSafety standard:eek:

Also of interest, the Wildrider crosscut saw imported from USA in the 1800'S, for some reason they did not sell in Oz. perhaps because of the time taken to move it between cuts?

That is a cool drill press . Would be good on the back of ute in the middle of the paddock doing repairs for the farm.

Don't know about the saw, as I am adverse to exercise:eek:
    Cheers

Interesting saw, looks too much like exercise rather than woodwork

approx how long did it take to cut a slice of that log?
