Default Old Croc, Hughie & Wheelinround

To say I have had a spate of visitors recently would be an understatement but when they come in droves what else can I do but smile.

Last week it was Paul (Wood Nut) on retrieval mission he had left his miniature turnings the few weeks before, also dropped off for Hughie and I some real nice River Oak slabs approx 12" sq x 2 1/2"

Yesterday a visit from groeneaj (Andy) https://www.woodworkforums.com/f69/pe...g-help-164375/

Today Hughie and Old Croc (Richard all the way down from Townsville Not sure how he did it but he brought down some lovely Quilted QLD Maple some for Hughie and myself. Many thanks Richard I wish I could have given you more to take home but I believe that Burl Hughie is sending back exceeds baggage limits as it is.

Many Thanks Richard great meeting you and spending the time together. They arrived about 11am and left around 3pm.

Hughie Ray & Richard (Old Croc)

Recognize one mug shot & great to put a face to two others. Richard is the man for HQ timber. Very generous to personally home deliver the quilted maple.

Old Croc, I dropped in on Bruce & Lyn at Mission Bch just before new year and shared a few yarns. Then spent most of a day with PowderPost and his lovely other half, and went over to see old Jim in Mareeba. Will have to catch up on the tellembone.

You're quite a popular bloke Ray......
I hope they weren't late for an appointment like I was a couple of months back after a good chat.
And to say the least, Sue cake must have been good if it's all gone now.....seem to remember she does a good biscuit & slice.
    Cheers, crowie

Maybe I should have said "older" Jim in Mareeba. PP is in the sticks not town. I think you've seen "older" Jim's rocking horses at Prossy. Mind you that Nthn Silky Oak horse by PP is pretty good.
