    Good to see you! Looks like you are still enjoying yourself in Tassie. Much turning happening?? Those bits of wood seem the wrong shape for the lathe!

    haha yes..finally dragged my wood stash up the hill and am going through it..no turning yet, all tools still packed down in Trevs shed...but am active enuf now and should have my sheds up by years end and yes some turning among the other tasks...all is good..heres a few more pics from aorund our place..am easily contactable on FB...hows Wendy..her wood page hasnt been updated for 4 years or so and yr website for maybe 10 yearss hahahahhah hope the family is well Andy...

    PS the wood stash behind the fence is Berns HUon Pine stockpile out at Lynchford,,,have mor epics of his mill if u wanna se em..hahah

    I'm over Huon anyway. For turning at least. The smell gets really cloying after turning a few dozen honey dippers. I really think there should be a law against making anything as useless as a honey dipper out of it.

    ahha yess..i was over it till i found Berns place...easy to get good bits and need to work on some finishes..

    Cloying. n. The smell of skunk spray in your clothing on a hot day, 20 years after the original embarrassing episode. For those of you who are gracefully skunk-free, mix clover with pickled egg, kill it on the highway in 35C heat for 3 days. Not even the Ravens can stand it.
