    1. The players were VERY close to Thomas and the way he was knifed will play in thier heads a bit I think. Like as in history, troops will go that extra mile for leader they love but not one they havent gelled with. Lyon will get the midfield up and running well but that was progressing well anyway.

    2. Still not enough time to fix the poor management of player fitness and rehab from the previous 2 seasons.

Saints should have won 2005 and finals in 2006 but they are just frail, cant even blame badluck for most of the injuries and our fitness coach just resigned so that is only gunna get worse.

As long as we finish higher than the swans - god I hate em but dont know why.

I can't believe all the hype about the Tiges. You guys certainly know your stuff. I hope Gazaly looks in at some stage and puts in a good word for the Crows.

    Go Dogs!

    It's footy season again.

Spent 30 minutes on the phone with my business partner and we discussed football for the 1st time this year. Every Friday and Monday from now until October. Damn, it felt good.

Collingwood should go alright... in the top 8 this year, at least.

I'd like to see them finish higher than whoever Lignum supports , Carlton, Essendon, Swannies and Brisbane.... but top 8 will be fine.
    Cheers,

I'm afraid you'll have to pick me

I sorry, I just cannot get enthused about any form of hand/foot ball at all [for this read all codes].

The only thing worse is possibly, basketball or horse racing.

But, by all means don't let me stop you blokes having fun - just be patient while I grab my flak jacket, helmet etc before you descend.

Now if you were to talk motor racing - Go the V8's
