The specs look ok for the price.
Screen resolution is a little bit low but still ok and the battery is a bit small (lower screen res may make that irrellevant) and no 4G.
I saw some similarly priced phones recently that looked ok but when you read through the specs they didn't have a GPS (this one does).
For under $300 I'd give it a go.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

    Default The Braun.

    Thanks NC,
I was really only asking, as most of the stuff they sell is usually pretty good.

Just a note: the company 'Braun' makes very expensive high end electrical and electronic gear. Aldi sells low cost 'Baun' gear made to their entirely market-driven specs in China generally (or eastern European sweat shops). I'm sure they chose the same font and letter proportions deliberately to make people connect the two - particularly in Europe.....

They actually call it Bauhn Joe, so it even has the same number of letters.
