    G'day,

Probbaly talking drivel on the Friday thread, mow the grass so I can post some shots of what Australia Day is to me. Butcher some bits of timber and stuff around.
I make things, I just take a long time.

Working, for the first 6 hrs.
Sleeping 8:00am to about 4:30pm, despite the bloke with his vintage Victa, the other bloke with his compressor cranked up painting boats, someone else down the road cutting timber and the mother of all backyard cricket matches just over the back fence.

Then more work. A real action packed day.

    Default Australia Day

I will run up the Aussie flag on the flag pole.
Then I will fitting down pipes and fixing the guttering.
#1 Son is just back from 2 weeks in Borneo so we will catch up over a BBQ.

Then hopefully I can finish off the 2nd story window and take the scafolding down.
Only 4 weeks to go before the final inspection so I have the building weather proof and all the compliance certificates supplied by the plumber and electrician. I hope the head room on the stairs is OK.

Australia Day, Cut and fit 7 tenons, glue up and finish the aquarium stand for MBGitW, the clean out garage to make room for new (for me) saw from Mini, then go to the movies with MBGitW and play with the puppies.

    Hope everyone enjoys themselves!

Run the flag up the pole ( as I do every day), put the the tinny in and place the net for some salmon and ocean run trout, catach some flatties. clean everything up, have a few coldies and eat fish off the BBQ.
I like the big banner Neil put up, good to see.

I think I'll drop down to Regatta Point on the lake watch the Parade and flag raising done by Australia's Federation Guard have a quick chat with the PM while he inspects the troops and then go have a BBQ with the guys and their families...

...Then watch the Aussies thrash the Poms
