Brazil is a country of surprises in many regards, and finance is one of them. Their inflation rate at about 6.5% is, in round figures, about three times that of most comparable westernised countries. The good news, for them, is that over the last twenty odd years inflation has been lower on less than half a dozen occasions only, but has been as high as nearly 3000% in the early nineties!

So really things are looking good providing you are not desperate for a loan .

Other interesting things are that Brazil supports one of the largest populations in the world (particularly when you exclude China and India), is the fifth largest country (being larger than Australia) and, not surprisingly, is famous for brasilians.
