One For Book Lovers
I use a Kindle these days but recently I wanted to read a series of books and Amazon did not have them available so I found hard cover copies on Thrift Books. The copies I received cost me $7 each and about the same in freight and were brand new as far as I can tell. Highly recommended and far cheaper than buying locally.

Sounds like a good deal Chris. I've been getting mine from The Book Depository. A little more expensive but huge selection of hard-to-get books.

I wanted to read the entire Walk series by Richard Paul Evans and for some reason it has been removed from most if not all retail sites and Thrifty had the only copies I could find in hard cover so I ordered them. They were brand new copies obviously returned from retailers or wholesalers without a mark on them. It is a bit strange because I bought the first in the series from Amazon in Kindle format and now Amazon no longer stock that book in Kindle or any other format. For about $15 each book delivered to Oz I reckon they are a bargain but it is strange reading a printed book as I haven't done that for at least 8 years and I read every day for at least an hour.
