    Default BOOTS

Saw a topic a while ago where some of you easterners recommended Mongrel boots. It took a lot of doing but I finally found a local store who got some in for me. Delighted to tell you that you are right! Absolutely the most comfortable boots I have ever had and, even better, cheaper than the previous boots I have had. Having said that, the stores out here in the country do not seem to have the huge markups that the city stores seem to have for the same products even though they don't have the buying power of the biggies.

Mongrels for me from now on!

    Smart lad
Now that you know your size and model, you might be able to find an online retailer.

I've been using them for a good many years and just started on my third pair a few weeks ago. Mmmmm...

    Hey RSG,
Bruce Rock is a small town 250 km from Perth and like many small towns all over Aus' is reliant on people like Bruce buying local to help ensure their survival.
He's said that he's happy with the price so why the hell would he want to buy the boots online?
Even if I could save 33% online I would much prefer to walk into a local business to purchase an item. The modest profit made by the shop where Bruce bought his boots may make the difference between viability and failure.
    Cheers,
    Geoff.

    Thumbs up

Good for you on two counts Geoff. Firstly for getting the mongrels and secondly for supporting your
    local shops!!!

Yep, I'm a good lad no doubt..........no that's Bruce you're thinking of with the new pair of Mongrels, I'm wearing Steel Blues also bought locally but sadly no longer made in Australia.
