    Default Browsing Ebay

Should people browsing ebay tell the forum what they have seen

Pros Good for sellers but bad for buyers as it lifts the item profile.

I believe it's ok if the viewer isn't themselves interested in the item, but thinks that others here might be.

Is it good for members who found it by searching ebay themselves as it bumps the price up.

I list things that I think people may be interested in.

It may bump the price to a buyer from here but it may be a big help to someone who has not seen the item yet.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

The important and pertinent questions are; Why and what did you find? Don't keep us in suspense....

Like Steve, I think if you have no personal interest and will not bid, it's fine.Part of the purpose of this forum is dissemination of useful information for other forumulans.

If that's your attitude, why raise the subject in the first place?

The trouble is that it isn't a screaming bargain until the last minute of the auction and you get in the last bid at the cheap price.

I always never put in a bid on anything I want until the last minute because if the other bidders see your name there several times they know your interested in it and if they really want it they will keep outbidding you. If they don't see a bid from you they don't know you want it so they may relax a bit. If you leave it to the last minute it doesn't give them much time to outbid you.

One other thing you need to do is make sure your logged in when you bid at the last minute because the auction might end before you can log in.
