    Actually, Stuart, there was a debate in the SMH Column8 recently and it was firmly established that the correct Pirate retort was "arrrrrr", not "arrrrrgh", the latter being more likely to have be uttered when the knee of a scurvy dog connected with the groin of our protagonist.
