A quick search at carsales.com.au returns 10 falcon BF MK11 cars ranging from $9000 to $28,850.

It would seem that the price of your car is right in the middle off the range.

    They aren't very good.

I had a 95 fairlane and when I went to replace it I desperately wanted to buy another falcon. The boss and I were absolutely shocked at how awful they are, quality you'd expect in a dollar shop, and if you read the online owner reviews and columns like "ask smithy" in the courier mail you see a LOT of people with problems with BA and on falcons.

Ford claim market moves for Falcon sales plummeting from the 100,000 a year in 98 to about 30,000 a year now, but that's nonesense. People are still buying commodores by the truckload. The falcons are just awful and a ford warrantee isn't worth the papaer it's written on.

Have a look at redbook.com.au for pretty accurate valuations.
