    Default Canberra storage

Was made redundant with my old work and the last day was last week, fortunately I was offered a new job today here in Canberra. Now I have the fun of moving down here and finding a place.

Just wondering if any Canberians know of a good storage place as I may need to store a few things till I find my own place.

Will wait to find the timber and tools places later

Hi Brett, sorry can't help with any recommendations on storage, have the usual U-Stow It etc. Anyway welcome to Canberra, you can PM me if you want to meet up.
    Cheers

You need to update your user info - still says you live on the Central Coast
or maybe your PC is still there, and you're driving it by remote control?

    Cheers,
    Andrew

Mitchell has a large storage set up as does fyshwich, belconnen and i am sure tuggeranong has some as well. Best to find your haouse and the a storage place as you might be able to get storage much closer to home than you may think. Mind you in Canberra you are only 20 mins from anywhere else here.

Yeah and Canberra would be a great place if only we could get rid of all the pollies.

Thanks all, will check into those. Tuggeranong will be closer if there is one there. Checking out a place to rent tomorrow, even has a good sized storage shed from what i can see (and its in the ad so the current owners dont seem to be taking it with them).

Andrew I havent officially moved yet, but will update my info shortly

Looks like I even get to attend another T&WWW show in Sept, will make three this year .. im sure there is something I will need to go there and buy

    Welcome to Canberra Oges.

There is a storage place in Phillip (near Woden) as well. That might be a bit closer.
