    Default ***Caution*** Naked Head

    Good Morning All
Recently, my daughter convinced me to participate in the World's Greatest shave.

I have shaved my hair off once before during a charity raising event whilst on Peacekeeping duties in the Solomons whilst I was in the Navy. During the auction, I halted proceedings and then offered up the beard, then the eyebrows as well!

This time, I chose to keep the eyebrows. The beard has been a part of me since I joined the Navy at 16, only shaved off twice (charity shave and Gulf War I).

We raised nearly $1000. The shaveoff occurred at the Port Kennedy Indoor Beach Volleyball centre, where I play 2-3 nights a week.

I just realised these emoticons look like me without beard and hair.

A week after the event, I am nearly back to normal. Despite the charitable nature of the event, the kids did not want hanging around their school or talking to the friends, I don't know why.

    Cheers
    Willy

Willy, we considered it and it was a close call. What we want to know is how much it would cost to get you to wear a helmet for a few weeks

PS Please don't post this in the WW folder at work, all those skin tones would drive their detection software crazy.

Good job on the charity work. I'll be over that way for work before July and will be dropping into Stirling and a few other sites. I'll try to get some time to say g'day.

    Thanks for leaving the thread

Please let me know when you are in WA, I will be back in uniform for a year by then.

No, this thread will not be posted on the Defence Woodworking forum as Defence has higher and firmer guidelines to prevent this type of disgusting photos being published.

Oh yeah, we raised nearly $1000 for Leukemia research.
