    What operating system?

Win 7 or Win 10, Snippy (Snip and Sketch) or press print screen and copy to paint.

I used to do it this way till I started using the Opera browser, now all I do is push the little camera button and select the area in the browser and select copy then paste it where ever I want or I can save as a picture file. It is a really cool feature.

if you hit the windows key and then type "snip" you will get the new snipping tool (and depending on what release of Win10 you have it might have a different default program). From there it should be evident how to create a new snip.

You can also hit the combination of shift-Win-S and it'll pop up in snip mode without opening the app. Then just simply paste that where I want the content (sometimes that might need to be into a painting program, or a Word document, depending on what I need it for)

That's something I didn't know, and it is so easy to do. Need to remember that

apparently I am running windows 8
I have the snipping tool but if it took a picture/copy off google earth pro then I got no idea where it is, there are days I try things beyond my basic understanding.

If you want to put a photo/map into a web page you could use Google maps and embed one.

once you have your location on the map you then select "share or embed" from the menu on the left

    Opera Snapshot_2020-02-24_105813_www.google.com.jpg

When this window opens select "embed" and you can then copy the code to put in a web page
