    Default The cricket in Squidley

Why on earth does Ponting have a defensive field set? We're miles ahead on run rate. We've taken out their front line batsmen. We just saw a ball skied through the first slip area. Why don't we have four slips and a gully? Let the bowlers bowl to an attacking field. Cripes, we can afford to let them hit a few boundaries.

Tikki, it's cricket. It's the unknown. It's madness. Live with it.

Its to make the batsmen think there are 2 balls coming at them. Confuses the cr*p out of them.

Methinks the most ironic thing is that Ponting's nickname is 'punter', yet he doesn't seem keen to take a risk. Still, they're doing what's needed. Gee I love conservative cricket. It's so ... so ... conflamin'-servative

Poor old Roy has a generative skin disease that makes his lips turn bright pink when exposed to uv light, and aparently on nights that the moon is stronger than a qtr it also effects it, so he has to wear the thick cream. bummer for him ey
