Power pole outside our place got hit once, the bloke who hit it reckoned he wasn't trying to do a handbrake around the corner. But when you hear that wet shhhhhhh sound with wheels spinning and engine in full roar

I just went out and told the bloke that's what happens when you're an idiot, the neighbour did the same on what was a cold rainy night.

The bloke spent the next couple of hours cursing as he tried to straighten up some panels and fix the suspension so he could drive away. Before we moved in several years ago we found out a few cars had come through the front of our yard - two to hit two trees and one other who made it as far as the hedge.

I make things, I just take a long time.

A few years ago we came home to find a car parked backwards in the laundry. The washing machine was in the toilet with water flooding and live wires hanging down.
Old age not youth was the cause of that one.

And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

Dare I say it - woman driver. It seems if you want to get the best out of your front wheel drive car, go for the fence backwards!

Looks to me like someone just learned that neither the steering nor the brakes actually work when the wheels aren't on the ground......

I reckon you've got the basis for a driving test question there: "you are in mid-air do you:
    a) put on the brakes?
    b) steer round the pole?
    c) call the RACV?
    d) open the door as an air-brake?

    Cheers,
    Jim

Now that is the most likely box to be ticked
