Rumour has it that there are some feral haggis running around near our place in the hills, illegally brought in by migrant Scots a few decades ago.
Of course in Scotland they didn't grow that big because of the bitterly cold winters but because of our temperate weather they can get very big indeed.
Believe they can be quite dangerous, nasty little buggers.

    Iain,

Have you tried putting foilies on all your roses at night to stop them eating the flowers?

I have been told Al uses the foilies in his garden and no feral haggis droppings or problems. He swears by them.

I've heard that if you put bottles of Irn Bru out on the lawn it will keep them away...

Don't hold me to it Iain, Al is your man on this subject. I think he got the idea from the Prince Charles.

Has this thread acquired a mind of its own? If y'all run down a feral haggis, let us know. Someone might be able to turn it into a bowl or something. Gotta go. 5.15 here. An end of term concert looms.

It's a wonder it doesn't ferment in their gut and cause halitosis and wind.

But after having a bit of conversation? on here I'm feeling great and cant wait to get home and into the shed.

Thanks Fella's and Sheila's for the mood improvement therapy oh and some talk of woodwork too.
