Default I don't get out much

They don't let me out much so I got the opportunity to attend an exhibition. Bit of a drive to get there, handed a drink when I got in the door, another couple while doing a bad impression of socialising, one maybe two while doing laps of the exhibit and I needed to go.

After some searching the way was found hidden behind two overlapping walls of which the back of one was hung a few of where I needed to go badly by now. After getting ready I noticed that where I needed to go was noticeably higher than would otherwise be thought of as the right height. In the meantime another needing to go person arrived two positions away and for some reason I thought I'd seek his thoughts on the height of where we were going, as you do, a little friendly banter while concentrating on the work at hand. So I said "you wouldn't want to be much shorter would you?" without looking, as you do when privacy needs to be upheld. He said "yeah" and we both finished where we wanted to go about the same time. While turning to the wash basin in a glimpse I realised that the person was quite a bit shorter in height than me and I'm not that tall so I immediately start thinking about what I'd just said to him and the way he may have taken it then it dawned on me that short may also be used to describe length

The fixed soap dispenses weren't working so as a substitute there were some plastic bottles of liquid soap on the self above the wash basins. Still thinking of what had just happened, I push down on the little tap on the top of the soap bottle and instead of the soap squirting down, it shot out and hit me in the chest. So I try to remove it with a paper towel and water guess what, suds, yep soap and water make suds and to get the suds out you need more water. Consequently I walk back out into the crowd half my shirt sopping wet and definately avoiding any eye contact with anyone until getting to the bar where I stayed for a while

Just needed to get this off my chest

Sounds like you need more practice at going out! So what was the exhibition like?

If I haven't learnt to do it now I never will, I'm telling ya I felt my heels wanting to lift, I not sure what technique poor old shorty was into I reckon the tradey who did the install must have been seven foot tall

The exhibition bought together 60 odd artists who donated their work which was either auctioned or silent auctioned and raised from what I heard $50,000 odd towards the Light House Foundation, it was great
