Thread: Drawing pens

Hello,
I'm wondering what pens you people prefer, those of you that are still into making black marks on paper! I know most design is now done on computer, and I've tried a bit, but a lot of my stuff is loose, freehand and then laboriously converted to plans... the old way.

I discovered a really nice range of pens by Rotring, a move onwards from the older steel-tipped refillable type (of which I have a drawer-full!) They have Rotring XO#OX Graphic stamped on them, in a selection of nib sizes and are pretty good really. Certainly better to use freehand than the old ones and will work against straight edges and French curves excellently. Downside is they aren't refillable and the fibre tip actually gives out before they run out of ink. And my local supplier doesn't stock them anymore.

Anyone have a favourite they keep using?
