    Default The Drought's getting worse

Comment courtesy of Gary Clark and Swamp Tales - if he isn't on your list of sites to visit every morning, it's worth considering. I put this here because I couldn't work out where the joke ended and the social commentary began

It's effin bluddy dry here, my bore ran dry last night so that leaves me with rain water and nought else..... the bore ran my dunnys', my garden water (Read: kept grass green for fire barrier) and it is also connected to my now useless firefighting pump.... mine is not the first to run dry in the district and I don't think it will be the last! If a fire comes my way I shalol sit and watch it burn, luckily there is bugger all grass to burn really...

Getting bad if the bores are dry down there - I thought that'd be the last of your troubles.

Mate, if you see a fire coming, buy a couple of cartons, drink it quickly, then hang on until the ouflow is needed
