Default Had an epiphany the other day

Since I finished the house on the block we had subdivided I have been feeling a bit down in the dumps.

So many little annoyances over the last few months haven't helped either. The damage caused by the collapsed ceiling has only just been repaired, so I can now start to get the shed back in order and do things i want to do. I have only managed to get to the woodturning club couple of times this year and that is always good therapy.

On Sunday afternoon we called some friends to see if we could go over with a few nibblies and have a get together. Sory we are just on the way out! Bummer!

Rang another friend and the answer was "Sure, Love to see you!"

So over we went. Just talked, had a coffee and next thing the friend's phone rings several times within a few mininutes. As it turned out the first friends we had rung were on their way round, then our friend's brother and his family.

We ended up having dinner there and a really good relaxing evening. Lot's of laughter and good old fashioned cameararderie. I felt so good after this episode!

I then realised what has caused my blues. I've missed the company!

Just demonstrates how simple things can have such an effect on your life.

H'mm, not so good that you have been in the dumps. It's really good that you have seen the light and found your friends again.
