    Default No Fat Kids

Tired of arguing about the presumption of innocence, I thought it particularly cynical of a particular political party to announce that it will ban the use of cartoons in advertising fast food!

So no more cartoons in the ads eh? That ought to fix 'em.

What will they think of next? Perhaps the use of remote controls will be banned for those under a certain age to ensure they get exercise walking to the tele to turn it off!

How about a Girth-guage, a bit like the height gauges on sideshow rides, (you know the ones that if you can walk under them you aren't big enough to ride), well if they just narrowed down the doors of the problem businesses, then the fat kids couldn't get in to buy the stuff in the first place!

Would this be some guys over there on the left. They usually can't resist the urge to regulate....

I reckon those jingles need to go, you know the ones, they stick in your head. And for those who suffer from them a head-song-ripper-outerer, plastic with teletubbies on them, issued pre election....

Fat kids are good for the nation. They die young so we don't have to look after them when they get old. Think about the money we can save.

Maybe its the thin edge of the wedge for unheathy food vendors.

The anti-smoking wowsers started the same way.

Being genetically a nerd, I hated sports at school, but I was forced to engage in them daily. In retrospect, I think this was a good thing, since, when I went to college, I was motivated to take up rowing to keep fit. Then, when I started work, I found myself walking ten or 15 miles a day doing geological surveying. Now that I am retired, the inner nerd has taken over, but I haven't become fat yet

Mobile phones must also be causing a problem, they only have to reach into their pocket to take the call.
    Less excercise again.
