    bloody ripper Cliff, absolute ripper

what I do with unsolicited telemarketers is I put them on hold while I get the person they're calling, get my drift ...

I check after 5 mins and say he/ she's on their way, put them on hold again - if they're still there.

they usually don't phone back, if they do then its back on hold and ROFL

but I like Cliff's post better, gonna have to try that one

    cheers

SWMBO has her own response when she gets a telemarketer with a 'foreign' accent that she can't understand. She usually responds. " I'm glad you called. I've changed my my mind and would like to change my order. Can I have the curry instead of the rogan josh and please add some Naam bread. Thanks" and then hangs up.

My daughter (5) answered the phone the other day. The first thing she said was “Hello, it is dinner time.” I thought it was very funny.
